IND vs PAK T20 World Cup: In the T20 World Cup, a great match was played between India and Pakistan today. Both the teams were playing in front of around one lakh spectators at the historic Melbourne Cricket Ground. Batting first, Pakistan scored 159 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. In reply, India won the match for the loss of six wickets in the last ball.

IND vs PAK T20: India took revenge from Pakistan

India defeated Pakistan by four wickets in their first match of Super-12. Virat Kohli has given a Diwali gift to Indian fans. He played an unbeaten innings of 82 runs in 53 balls in this match. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Pakistan scored 159 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Indian team had lost four wickets for 31 runs at one point.

After this, Hardik Pandya along with Virat Kohli shared a partnership of 113 runs in 78 balls for the fifth wicket. In the last five overs, India needed 60 runs to win. Six runs were scored in the 16th over and followed by six runs in the 17th over. In the 18th over, Kohli changed gear and hit three fours in Shaheen Afridi’s over. India scored 17 runs in the 18th over. Team India needed 31 runs in the last two overs. Kohli hit two sixes in the last two balls of the 19th over. Haris Rauf was bowling in that over.

IND vs PAK T20: Know what happened in the last over

India needed 16 runs in the last over. Mohammad Nawaz came to bowl and sent Hardik Pandya to the pavilion on the first ball. Hardik was dismissed after scoring 40 runs in 37 balls. Karthik took a run on the second ball. Kohli took two runs off the third ball. Kohli hit a six off the fourth ball. The umpire gave it a no ball because of the height. After this Nawaz bowled a wide ball in a free hit. Kohli took three runs in the bye off the fourth ball. Karthik got out on the fifth ball. He could score a run. Nawaz bowled the first wide on the last ball and after that Ashwin won the match by taking one run.

With this victory, Team India also avenged the defeat in the T20 World Cup last year. Last year, Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets. Then the captain of the team was Virat Kohli.
