A senior BCCI official told Sport, “Yes, it is not right to have an ODI series before the T20 World Cup. But sometimes it happens like this.

India’s three-match ODI series will be played from October 6 and will end on October 11. However, in just six days of the last ODI, Team India will play a practice match against Australia before the T20 World Cup.

India will leave for Australia by 10 October:-

Hence, the India T20 WC team will leave for Australia by 10 October to adapt to the conditions and time zones. Therefore the board has decided to form a completely separate team for the ODI series.

IND vs SA ODIs 2022: At the same time, Rahul wants the player to practice better. But we believe it can be harmful. However, it will be discussed during the selection meeting and we will take a decision in due course.
