KS Bharat Became Emotional After Making his Debut Against Australia, Hugged his Mother on the Field

He engaged his mother on the field itself. After this Bharat met other family members. BCCI has shared two videos regarding Bharat’s debut on its social media. In the first video, Pujara is giving him the Test cap and in the second video, Bharat is expressing his feelings about playing his Test match.

When Team India’s jersey reached Bharat, he was very happy. He said, “It is a matter of great happiness. I remembered everything from where I started. When I started playing in the first class, I never thought that I would be able to play Tests. My coach J Krishna Rao had a lot of faith in me. He felt that I had a lot of potential. I made my debut for India A in 2018. Rahul Dravid was the head coach at that time. I played for India A in England. Rahul sir was with us at that time.

Talking about KS Bharat’s first class career, he has scored 4707 runs in 86 matches at an average of 37.95. During this, his highest score was 308 runs. Bharat has scored nine centuries and 27 half-centuries. He took 296 catches and made 35 stumpings in the first class. In 64 List A matches, Bharat has scored 1950 runs with the help of six centuries and six half-centuries. His average during this period has been 33.62. He has 1116 runs in 67 T20 matches. He has scored five half-centuries. During this, his average is 19.57 and strike rate is 109.19.
