Melbourne Renegades captain Nic Maddinson has been ruled out of the rest of the match due to injury. Maddison will miss the remainder of the KFC BBL|12 as scans confirmed a torn ACL.

Left knee injury while fielding:-

Melbourne Renegades captain Nic Maddinson will be sent for scans tomorrow to determine the severity of a left knee injury sustained while fielding during their five-wicket loss to Perth Scorchers.

The 31-year-old went down clutching his left knee while fielding a ball on the outfield of the Marvel Stadium during the second over of the Scorchers chase and appeared to be in serious trouble as he was carried off on a stretcher.

The 31-year-old was injured while fielding against the Perth Scorchers at the Marvel Stadium. A scan on Monday confirmed the injury as an ACL tear.

Maddinson’s rehabilitation plan will be confirmed in the coming days following consultation with Melbourne Renegades and Cricket Victoria’s medical staff.
