Pakistan A tour of Zimbabwe: Pakistan A team will be captained by Imran Butt, popularly known as Pakistan Shaheen. Shahnawaz Dahani missed the PSL due to a finger injury. He has also been included in the 16-member squad for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe. Hussain Talat will serve as the vice-captain. While wicketkeeper Rohail Nazir will also return to the national team on this tour.

Former U-19 captain Kasim Akram is part of the traveling squad. Mir Hamza, who recently played three Test matches against England and New Zealand, also travels with the team. As does 20-year-old batsman Hasibullah Khan, who played for Zalmi in the PSL this season. The tour, comprising two four-day matches and six 50-over games, begins on May 3.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s U-19 team will travel to Bangladesh in late April to play four one-day matches, five 50-over matches, and one T20I. Saad Baig, who captained the team against Bangladesh A in Multan, will reprise that role. The squad also includes fast bowler Aimal Khan, who featured prominently for Quetta Gladiators in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League. Slow left-arm bowler Ali Asfand, who played for Central Punjab’s 2nd XI in 2022, will serve as the vice-captain.

The Under-19 tour will begin with a four-day match in Chattogram on 30 April. With the only T20 match of the tour on 17 May in Rajshahi.
