Asia Cup 2023: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Roger Binny and Vice President Rajeev Shukla reached Pakistan for the Asia Cup (Asia Cup 2023) on Monday, September 4, 2023. The BCCI has nominated its president Roger Binny and vice-president Rajeev Shukla to travel to Pakistan and attend matches during the Asia Cup 2023 campaign. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has welcomed Binny and Shukla very warmly. Now its photos are also going viral on social media.

Pakistan Cricket Board has also posted some pictures on social media Twitter welcoming Roger and Rajiv. The Board has also arranged a PCB Gala Dinner for the Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan teams along with the BCCI delegation at the Governor House in Lahore. However, you can clearly see in the photos that Roger and Rajiv have also met Pakistani players. Apart from this, both have also had dinner together.

Before Roger Binny and Rajiv Shukla reached Pakistan, some pictures of the Wagah Border were going viral on social media. However, Roger and Rajeev have reached Pakistan through the Wagah border. Apart from this, PCB Chairman Ashraf and other senior Pakistani representatives have warmly welcomed him. Both Binny and Shukla are expected to stay in Pakistan for the next three days and watch the Asia Cup matches being held in the country.

BCCI President Roger Binny had earlier said “BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla and I will go to Pakistan through Wagah Border on 4th September. Apart from the official dinner, we will also watch some matches. However, we will return to India on 7th September. This is the BCCI president’s first visit to the neighboring country after India and Pakistan severed bilateral cricket ties following the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
