Sachin Tendulkar 50th Birthday: The ‘God’ of cricket, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar (Sachin Tendulkar Birthday) completed his Fifty today, April 24, at the stage of life. Actually, Sachin Tendulkar turned 50 today. Many stories are related to Sachin, who played cricket for the Indian team from the age of 16. Many stories have settled in the minds of cricket lovers. On the occasion of his birthday, we know about two such stories, which may have become blurred.

The first story, Sachin thrashed Henry Olonga :-

It is about the 1998 Coca-Cola Champions Trophy. In the group match, the Indian team came down to chase the target of 209 runs. In this match, 23-year-old Henry Olonga of Zimbabwe wreaked havoc on the Indian batsmen. After dismissing India’s star batsman Ganguly and Dravid, Olanga dismissed Sachin Tendulkar, but the umpire called that ball a no-ball. Sachin was given life, but it was of no use.

Its next ball was a short bouncer by Olanga and Sachin handed over the catch to the player standing at point. World’s greatest batsman Tendulkar was surprised by Henry Olanga getting him out twice in two balls. After getting the wicket of Sachin, Olanga became so excited that he stared at Sachin. Sachin did not like this style of Henry. India lost this match.

Revenge taken in 36 hours :-

In the next 36 hours, the final of the Coca-Cola Champions Trophy was played between India and Zimbabwe. Sachin could not forget the stare of Henry Olanga. Zimbabwe scored 196 runs in the final match. In response to this, Sachin’s havoc broke on the Zimbabwe team. As well as on Henry Olanga. Sachin scored an unbeaten 124 off 92 balls while playing a stormy innings in that match.

Sachin had completed his half century in just 28 balls. Tendulkar hit 12 fours and 6 sixes during his innings. Sourav Ganguly, who came to open with Sachin, scored an unbeaten 63 runs. Sachin thrashed Olanga fiercely in that match. Henry gave 50 runs in 6 overs.

Second story, Sachin, “It will never happen again” :-

The story is from 2007. The ODI series was held between India and Australia. The third ODI in the same series took place on 5 October at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Australia scored 290 runs in this match. In the 24th over of the same match, Sachin Tendulkar was batting and Australia’s Brad Hogg was bowling. Sachin got clean bowled on the last ball of this over. India lost the match by 47 runs.

Hogg could never get out again :-

The next day, Brad Hogg reached out to Sachin to get his autograph. Brad Hogg asked for an autograph on the wicket-taking photo. Sachin wrote- “Congratulations, but this will never happen again.” After signing, the photo was given to Brad Hogg. After that day, Brad Hogg could never take Sachin’s wicket. Both faced each other 17 times, but Sachin was never out on Brad Hogg’s ball. He did what he had written.
