Hangzhou: Yashasvi Jaiswal’s record-breaking century, India defeated Nepal by 23 runs in the quarterfinals of the Asian Games and made it to the semi-finals. For the first time in the history of the Asian Games, the Indian team won the toss batted first, and scored a huge score of 202 runs at the loss of four wickets. At the age of 21 years, nine months, and 13 days, he broke the record of Shubman Gill, who had scored a century against New Zealand at the age of 23 years and 146 days.

Jaiswal also made a unique historical record by scoring a century in the Asian Games. He has become the first Indian male cricketer to score a century in the Asian Games.

There may be a clash with Bangladesh in the semi-finals
