The former head coach of the Pakistan men’s team has rejoined the squad. The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed the appointment of a new director for the Pakistan men’s cricket team.

Former Head Coach Micky Arthur as Director of Pakistan:-

The PCB has appointed former head coach Mickey Arthur as the director of the Pakistan men’s cricket team.

Arthur’s responsibilities in this position include developing, implementing, and overseeing the tactics used by Pakistan’s men’s squad.

Members of the coaching staff for the tour of Australia:-

The 54-year-old South African will also serve as a member of the coaching staff for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 as well as the home series against the West Indies and the tour of Australia.

PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi also welcomed Arthur back to the team. Arthur coached Sri Lanka and later became head of cricket at Derbyshire after leaving the coaching role with Pakistan.

Sethi said, “I am happy that Mickey has formally joined the Pakistan men’s cricket team with a better role.
