In which 27 centuries and 54 half-centuries are included. Root’s best performance in Test matches has been 254 runs. He is also the second batsman to score more than 10000 runs in Test matches for England.

Alastair Cook had done this feat before him. Cook scored more than 12,000 Test runs in 161 matches.
