New Delhi: Star batsman Shikhar Dhawan is not a part of Team India present in Australia for the T20 World Cup. He recently worked as the captain of the Indian team in the three-match ODI series against South Africa (India vs South Africa). Under his captaincy, India created history by defeating the Proteas team 2-1. Dhawan is currently at his home and the festival has taken a toll on him. Former India star all-rounder Suresh Raina and Dhawan’s family together celebrated Diwali on Tuesday before Diwali.

Shikhar Dhawan has posted a photo with Raina on his Instagram. Also in the caption, he wrote, “Pre-Diwali celebration with my brother Suresh Raina.”

Suresh Raina announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020. He also announced his retirement from IPL this year. He was seen playing for Sachin Tendulkar’s team India Legends in the recently concluded Road Safety World Series. While Shikhar Dhawan is the main batsman of Punjab Kings (PBKS) in IPL.
