IND vs PAK: Pakistan’s star batsman Mohammad Rizwan has said that the cricketers of India and Pakistan want to play against each other, but due to political reasons, the series between the two countries is not happening.

The bilateral series between India and Pakistan took place in the year 2013, when the Pakistan team toured India. In this tour, Pakistan played ODI and T20 series with India.

Mohammad Rizwan, “Teams of both the countries are playing against each other only in ICC tournament” :-

Teams of both the countries are playing against each other only in ICC tournaments. The last match between these two teams was in the 2021 T20 World Cup; when Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets.

India last visited Pakistan in 2005-06. Since then the Indian team has not played in Pakistan due to security reasons and political tensions. At present, the relations between the two countries are very bad and the chances of bilateral series are negligible.

Ahead of the West Indies’ seven ODI series, Rizwan said, “The cricketers from Pakistan and India want to play against each other, but due to political reasons, nothing is in the hands of the players. I had a lot of discussions with Pujara about cricket and Learned a lot from him.

Rizwan played with Pujara in county cricket :-

Mohammad Rizwan recently played county cricket with Pujara. Both made their debuts for Sussex in the same match. Pujara had a stellar county season as he returned to the Indian team with four centuries in four matches.

At the same time, Rizwan also showed a good game. In the match against Durham, the duo shared a 154-run partnership for the sixth wicket for Sussex. Pujara scored two double centuries and two hundreds in this season of county cricket.
