Rohit Sharma will be the Captain of the Indian team in the T20I World Cup 2024
T20I World Cup 2024: Since the T20 World Cup 2022 concluded, Hardik Pandya has guided the team in Twenty20 Internationals. Ex-opener Aakash Chopra believes Rohit Sharma should lead the team in the major competition.

“He (Rohit) might go as the captain and I feel he will go now. According to me, Rohit is going to be the captain in the T20 World Cup as well,” Chopra said.
Chopra was also confident that Virat Kohli would feature in the India team for the T20 World Cup 2024 where he will bat at no.3. He also said that he feels Indian Captain will have a great form in the IPL 2024.

“Rohit Sharma will be our captain if he is playing with a little bit of freedom in the IPL, which I think will be the case this time around. Virat Kohli will only be seen playing at No. 3,” the former opener continued.
According to some reports, Rohit Sharma has been asked by the BCCI to captain the T20I team during the T20 World Cup.
