According to the report, Dubey has a grade one tear, which takes about 8 weeks to recover completely. Because of this CSK may also get a shock due to his injury. IPL will start from 22nd March.

In such a situation, Dubey may remain unavailable for the initial matches due to injury. Dubey had made a big contribution in making Chennai the champion last season. He scored 418 runs, in which he hit 35 sixes. He was the second player to hit the most number of sixes in the tournament.
