The rule of DRS has become very important in IPL and cricket, it is a boon for the players who are victims of the umpire’s wrong decision. Another rule has been including in this boon.

IPL DRS Rules 2023:

According to the report of Cricinfo, from IPL 2023, another rule will be included in the review system. Players will now be able to take DRS even on no ball or wide ball.

As the ball came out from behind a batsman, the umpire felt that the ball touched some part and went back and if he did not give a wide, then the batsman would be able to take a review on it. If the review is correct, then the review will be saving, otherwise it will be useless.

The same will happen for the bowling team, if they feel that there is no wide but the umpire has given a wide, then they will be able to take a review.

There will be a time limit for this which is already running. Now DRS can be deciding within 15 seconds of the decision.
