BCCI officials raised the curtain from the future of T20I career of ‘Rohit Sharma’
T20I World Cup 2024, Rohit Sharma: Top officials of BCCI recently held a meeting with India captain Rohit Sharma, head coach Rahul Dravid and Selection Committee to discuss various things about Indian cricket.
This meeting was held keeping in mind the T20I World Cup :-
The Top agenda was to review India’s ODI World Cup campaign. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah, Vice-President Rajiv Shukla, and Treasurer Ashish Sheller also wanted to know the roadmap of Indian cricket, especially keeping in mind the T20I World Cup.
Let us tell you that ODI, T20I and Test squads were also elected during the meeting for the tour of South Africa.
Indian team captain Rohit Sharma attended a meeting held in New Delhi via zoom calls as he is in London to spend the Quality Time with his family after non -stop cricket.
Rohit Sharma asked BCCI officials and selectors these questions :-
In this meeting, Rohit Sharma asked BCCI officials and selectors about the T20 World Cup future. He asked, “” If you want to choose me for the T20 World Cup, then tell me how to go now. ”
Officers, coach Dravid and selectors allegedly agreed that Rohit is the right person to lead the team in the T20 World Cup. The report said that the selectors really wanted Rohit to take over the T20I side from the tour of South Africa, but the hit man had requested the break.
Now what will happen to Hardik Pandya?
Now if Rohit Sharma captains T20I cricket, what will happen to Hardik Pandya? So let us tell you that BCCI has never officially declared Pandya as the captain of India’s T20I side nor has mentioned anything about Rohit and Kohli’s future in this format.
