BCCI’s Big Announcement: The Rajkot Stadium’s Name Will Change Before The Third Test. The third test match between India and England will be played at Rajkot Stadium. But before that BCCI has made preparations to change the name of this stadium.

The Series Between India And England is Tied At 1-1:-

Now the new name of this stadium will be kept after the Ranji player. The third Test match of the five-match Test series between India and England will be played at Rajkot Stadium from February 15. Before this, the series between India and England is tied at 1-1.

Rajkot Stadium Will Be Named After Senior Administrator Niranjan Shah:-

Ahead of the third Test between India and England, the Rajkot stadium will be renamed after former first-class player and senior administrator Niranjan Shah. The new name of this stadium will be unveiled by BCCI Secretary Jai Shah.

Many senior BCCI officials will also be invited to this function. Along with the players of the Indian team, players of the England team will also participate in this function.

Rajkot Stadium will be renamed on 14th February. Let us tell you that the first international match was played at this stadium in 2013 and even at that time the teams of India and England were face to face. Although that was an ODI match. Then in 2016, the first test match was played here between these two teams.

Shah Has Held The Post Of SCA Secretary For Almost 40 Years:-

Niranjan Shah played 12 first-class matches for Saurashtra between 1965 and 1975, in which he scored 281 runs. Shah has held the post of SCA Secretary for almost 40 years.

Apart from the post of SCA, Niranjan Shah has also been the BCCI Secretary. Apart from Niranjan Shah, his son Jaydev Shah has also played first-class cricket. Jaydev Shah has also captained Saurashtra. He has also played in the IPL.

Both the initial matches between India and England were very tough. While England had won the first test, the second test was won by the Indian team.
