Chennai made record: In the 24th match of IPL 2023, the batsmen of Chennai Super Kings rained heavily with fours and sixes. Batting first, CSK scored their biggest score in IPL against RCB and scored 226 runs losing 3 wickets. Meanwhile, in the last over of Chennai’s innings, Harshal Patel made such a mistake that the umpire did not allow him to complete the over.

Harshal Patel made a big mistake :-

Actually, Harshal Patel was throwing the 20th over of Chennai Super Kings’ innings. Harshal bowled a full toss on the second ball of the over, which was above the batsman’s waist, which was called a no ball by the umpire. After this, only one ball later, Harshal repeated the same mistake again and bowled another no ball. The umpire stopped Harshal from bowling for throwing two consecutive balls above the waist in one over.

Maxwell completed the over :-

Harshal Patel’s over was completed by Glenn Maxwell after the umpire stopped it, scoring a total of 16 runs. Maxwell also took a wicket on the fourth ball of the over and gave only two runs in the last two balls. In 3.2 overs, Harshal Patel looted runs freely and gave 36 runs while taking one wicket.

Biggest score against RCB :-

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings put up the highest ever total against RCB in IPL history. Devon Conway batted brilliantly, hitting 83 runs in 45 balls, while Rahane scored 37 runs in 20 balls. At the same time, Shivam Dubey scored 52 runs in 27 balls while playing in a fast manner.

In the last over, Moin Ali scored 19 runs in 9 balls and he returned unbeaten. Due to which CSK batting first scored 226 runs losing 3 wickets in 20 overs.
