SL vs AUS 1st T20I: Sri Lanka Announces Playing XI For First T20I
AUS vs SL 1st T20I: Sri Lanka announced the playing XI for the first T20I, Aaron Finch-led Australia will take on hosts Sri Lanka in the three-match T20I series starting at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo here from Tuesday.

Financially crippled Sri Lanka would be hoping to make their fans smile by gifting them a win against Australia.
The last time Australia and Sri Lanka faced off in the T20I format was in February 2022 in a home series in Australia which was a five-match series. The Kangaroos won the series by a margin of 4-1.
Australia won the first match by DLS method in which Australia batting first scored 149 for the loss of nine wickets and Sri Lanka scored 122 runs and lost eight wickets. The rain stopped the game.
2nd T20I, Australia won the match in the Super Over, batting first Australia scored 164 for 6 wickets.
Sri Lanka leveled the innings at 164 for the loss of eight wickets and the match went into a Super Over where SL scored five runs and Australia won comfortably. match.

In the third T20I, Australia won the match with six wickets remaining as Sri Lanka, batting first, scoring 121 runs, and lost six wickets. Aus chased down the target in the 17th over to register his third win of the series.
In the fourth T20I, Australia won the match with six wickets to spare as Sri Lanka came to bat and scored 139 for the loss of eight wickets. The man in yellow chased down the target comfortably in the 19th over and won the match.
Fifth T20I, Sri Lanka won the match by five wickets, Australia came to bat and scored 154 for 6 wickets. The guests chased down the target and registered their first and only win in the series.
This time the World T20 champions will take on Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka where both sides have equal chances to win the series. The series will begin with a match at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.
Starting at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium:-
The second T20I will begin on June 8 at the same venue and the third T20I will begin on June 11 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
Marsh, David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, and Steve Smith are back after missing the most recent T20 matches against Sri Lanka at home in February. Ashton Agar performs main spin duties with Adam Zampa.
