Melbourne: Australia wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey is a fan of Tim David’s explosive hitting in the T20 World Cup squad and has compared him to India’s Hardik Pandya and West Indies’ Kieron Pollard. Cricket Australia named David, born in Singapore and raised in Perth. As a replacement for Mitchell Swepson in the men’s World Cup squad announced on Thursday.

Alex Carey said on Friday at SEN 1170 Breakfast, ‘I have played against him (David) in the Big Bash and I have seen his power hitting from behind the wicket.
