ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Coach Chandika Hathurusingha believes that Bangladesh’s top order has become a matter of concern. The seventh match of World Cup 2023 was played between England vs Bangladesh (ENG vs BAN).

This Match Was Played in The Stadium Of Dharamshala:-

In this match, England performed brilliantly and won against Bangladesh by 137 runs. This match between the two teams was played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.

Against England, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. During this, the England team, who came to bat first, performed brilliantly and scored 364 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.

Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha on Tuesday said Bangladesh’s top order has become a matter of concern, but urged the new-look opening pair to be patient.

With Tamim Iqbal unavailable, Bangladesh have chosen Liton Kumar Das and Tanjid Hasan Tamim to open the innings in the World Cup, but the opening pair has failed to impress so far.

The Excellent Batting Was Seen by Three Batsmen:-

England saw excellent batting from the top three batsmen. In the match played in Dharamshala, David Malan scored 140 runs, Jonny Bairstow scored 52 runs and Joe Root scored 82 runs for England.

It was because of these three batsmen that England had set a big target of 365 runs for Bangladesh.

But the batsman who scored the most runs for Bangladesh was Liton Das. Das scored an inning of 76 runs in 66 balls against England. Which includes seven fours and two sixes.
