IND vs AUS: The first match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 will be played between India and Australia in Nagpur. This series will start from 9th February. Cameron Green was ruled out of the Boxing Day Test against South Africa after fracturing his finger but is back for the India tour. But the Australian captain was not happy with Green’s progress in the nets.

Pat Cummins Also Revealed that, Green Attempted to bat in the Nets on Thursday

All-rounder Cameron Green has not done much in the preparatory camp ahead of the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy match against India starting in Nagpur on February 9, Pat Cummins has admitted to Fox Sports. Pat Cummins also revealed that Green attempted to bat in the nets on Thursday but did not elaborate further. Cummins did say that, when Green is fully fit. He gives Australia balance in their playing XI as he can be the third pace bowling option.

Will Green Play in Nagpur Test?

The Australian captain also made a big statement about Cameron Green playing in the Nagpur Test ahead. “I doubt he (Green) is the kind of option for the first Test. But we will wait and see the circumstances,” he said. You look at our team, which has players like Mitchell Starc (unavailable for the first Test), Josh Hazlewood, Scott Boland who are top-class bowlers.
