Livingstone Ruled Out Of Rest Of Test Series Against Pakistan Due To Injury

England men’s all-rounder Liam Livingstone has been ruled out of the rest of the Test series against Pakistan due to a right knee injury.

Lancashire will start rehab with medical teams:-

He will return to the UK on Tuesday and begin rehab with the ECB and Lancashire medical teams respectively. At this stage, England have not yet made a decision to call up a replacement.

Livingstone, making his Test debut, injured his knee while fielding at the boundary on the second day of England’s historic first Test in Pakistan in 17 years. He did not field for the rest of Pakistan’s first innings.

Ruled out of the rest of the Test series due to a right knee injury:-

England men’s all-rounder Liam Livingstone has been ruled out of the remainder of the Test series against Pakistan with a right knee injury, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said in a statement.

“He will return to the UK on Tuesday and begin rehab with the ECB and Lancashire medical teams respectively.” At this stage, England are yet to make a decision on whether to call up Livingstone’s replacement.

Liam scored 9 in the first innings and 7 not out in the second:-

Livingstone scored 9 in the first innings and 7 not out in the second. But was clearly in trouble as England set Pakistan a challenging target of 343.

The all-rounder did not bowl in the first innings. And the team management said he would fly back to England on Tuesday to begin a rehabilitation programme.
