Two South African Players Returning Home Ahead Of Commonwealth Games 2022
Two Players returning home from South Africa’s tour of England ahead of the Commonwealth Games and Birmingham for 2022 are in doubt.
Marizanne Kapp and Tumi Sekhukhune:-
Having missed the first T20 International, Marizanne Kapp and Tumi Sekhukhune will miss the remainder of the series and are in doubt for games starting on 29 July.

Sekhukhune re-injured his groin earlier on the tour and will recover at home. While Kapp returns to Gakbarah to attend a family affair.
A statement did not disclose the matter:-
While a statement from Cricket South Africa did not disclose the matter. Kapp’s wife and Proteas teammate Dane van Niekerk confirmed via social media that his brother-in-law was involving in an accident that left him in intensive care.
Batsman Tzmin Britts was calling up to the squad for the remainder of the T20I series. Although a final Commonwealth Games squad is yet to be determining.
The requirements of the Games must go through the South African Sports Confederation and the Olympic Committee.
South Africa at risk of missing out on medals in Games:-
With Kapp and Sekhukhun likely to return. This leaves South Africa at risk of missing out on medals at the Games.
Having already lost Liesel Lee (retiring from international cricket) and Van Niekerk, who is still battling an ankle injury. In the year before the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
