IPL Auction 2022: England fast bowler Jofra Archer has been bought by Mumbai Indians for 8 crores. Jofra base price was Rs 2 crore. Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians were the most interested in the services of Jofra in the auction.

Jasprit and Archer will be seen together for the first time

Will pair with Jasprit Bumrah in MI. Jofra will not be able to play this season due to injury. Jofra Archer will join Mumbai Indians for the 2023 season. Archer 2021 also did not play due to injury. The pairing of Jasprit and Archer will be seen together for the first time.

Sunrisers Hyderabad also could not stop it from joining the bid. However, Mumbai won. The 26-year-old cricketer underwent a scan of his right elbow last week. Did not play in 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL), T20 World Cup and Ashes.
