Speaking to Zee Business, an OYO spokesperson said that there has been a huge increase in demand for travel ever since the dates of major tournaments like the Cricket World Cup were announced. He added that OYO aims to provide comfortable and affordable accommodation for cricket fans. And the expansion of its hotel offering is a step in that direction.

OYO’s big decision before World Cup 2023

Speaking to news agency PTI, an OYO spokesperson said, “OYO will add 500 hotels in the host cities over the next three months to meet the demand for the Cricket World Cup. We want to ensure that anyone who is traveling from far and wide to watch their favorite teams has access to comfortable and affordable accommodation.”
