RCB vs DC Match Highlights: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals clashed in the 20th match of IPL 2023 on Saturday (April 15). In this match played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, RCB registered their second win of the tournament by defeating Delhi Capitals by 23 runs. Batting first after losing the toss, the RCB team had scored 174 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, in response to which the Delhi team could only manage 151 runs for 9 wickets.

Virat Put the Third Fifty of the Season

Virat Kohli, who is opening in this match for RCB, gave the third fifty of IPL 2023. Kohli scored 50 runs in 34 balls. His innings included 6 fours and 1 six. Apart from this, Lomror scored 26 runs in 18 balls. Captain Faf du Plessis and batsman Glenn Maxwell did not get to see special innings. Maxwell scored 24 while Plessy scored 22 runs. For Delhi, Mitchell Marsh and Kuldeep Yadav took 2-2 wickets while Akshar Patel and Lalit Yadav got 1-1 wickets.

Bad Batting of Delhi

Chasing 174 runs scored by Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Delhi Capitals team got off to a very poor start. The team’s 3 wickets fell for just 2 runs. After a bad start, the team’s batting completely faltered. Although, Manish Pandey tried his best to get the match back in the middle overs, but he also became a victim of Hasranga after scoring 50 runs. Apart from this, none of the batsmen of the team could succeed in playing a big innings. Vijay Vaishakh took the maximum 3 wickets from RCB, besides Mohammad Siraj got 2 wickets while Wanindu Hasranga, Harshal Patel and Wayne Parnell got 1-1 wickets.
