‘This IPL will be remembered for him’, Ramiz Raja on MS Dhoni
IPL 2023 left the collective jaw of world cricket wide open with an epic conclusion that saw the CSK beat GT in the final to win their fifth title, thanks to a last ball boundary from Ravindra Jadeja. Ex-PCB chairman Ramiz Raja lavished praise on the league’s 16th edition and said that it would be remembered for the CSK skipper.
Ramiz Raja said in a video on his YouTube channel –
“This IPL will be remembered for the color yellow, and for MS Dhoni, because his humility, the Dhonimania, his captaincy, his calmness, and his keeping will be remembered for the ages.”
It was a 10th IPL final for the MS Dhoni-led CSK, who had been the fan favorites with chants of their star skipper reverberating at venues across the country.
Ramiz added – “But most of all, this IPL will remembered for the moment when a legend like Sunil Gavaskar asked MS Dhoni to sign an autograph on his shirt. There cannot be a bigger complement for MS Dhoni.”
