PSL 2024 Winner: The winner of the 2024 season of Pakistan Super League i.e. PSL was announced on Monday, March 17 after the final between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans at the National Cricket Stadium in Karachi.

Multan Sultan lost the final for the third consecutive time :-

Islamabad United won the title. Islamabad captured this trophy for the second time, while for the third time in a row, Multan Sultans had to face defeat in the title match. Multan’s team was in the finals for the fourth consecutive time, but after winning the 2021 title, this team had to face defeat in the finals in 2022, 2023 and now 2024.

The result of the final match came on the last ball of the last over :-

Islamabad United, captained by Shadab Khan, won the final of PSL 2024 by just 2 wickets. The result of the match came on the last ball of the last over, when Huneen Shah hit a four on the last ball. A batsman was out on the previous ball.

In such a situation, the match could have ended in a draw, but this young player gave his team victory even before the super over by hitting a four off Mohammad Ali. Islamabad United had previously won a title in 2018 and have now captured it again after 6 years.

Imad Wasim was the hero of Islamabad United winning the final :-

Imad Wasim was the hero for Islamabad United against Multan Sultans as he took five wickets in the final. He single-handedly sent half the Multan team to the pavilion. Multan team was able to score 159 runs in the final after playing 20 overs and losing 9 wickets.

Usman Khan added 57 runs for the team, while Iftikhar Ahmed scored 32 runs. Mohammad Rizwan scored 26 runs. At the same time, Imad Wasim took 5 wickets and captain Shadab Khan took 3 wickets. For Islamabad, Martin Guptill scored 50 and Azam Khan scored 30 runs. Imad played an unbeaten inning of 19 runs.
