According to reports, Tamim had informed the selectors about the injury a few days ago. In such a situation he was thrown out. Tamim made his ODI debut in 2007.
So far he has scored 8357 runs in 243 ODI matches. Although there was news during the day that Tamim is ready to play only 5 matches, but now he is completely out of the World Cup.
Tamim Iqbal is Struggling with injury
BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin said- Tamim Iqbal has been troubled by injury for a long time. He returned for the New Zealand series.

Tamim scored 44 runs in the second ODI against New Zealand on 23 September. Earlier in July, he had reversed his decision to retire within a day.

Shakib Al Hassan Captain
Shakib Al Hasan will be the captain of the Bangladesh team. Liton Das will remain with the team as vice-captain. Nazmul Hussain Shanto will be at number 3. Shakib, Tauheed Hridoy, and Mushfiqur Rahim are included in the middle order.
While Mahmudullah and Mahedi Hasan will be in the middle to lower order. The bowling attack includes Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Hasan Mahmood, Mustafizur Rahman, and Tanzeem Hasan.
