Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the release date of the official anthem of the mega cricket event on its official Twitter handle.

The name of this anthem is ‘Dil Jashn Bole’, which has been composed by popular musician Pritam.

World Cup 2023 anthem song release date out

ICC has posted the official poster on Twitter. The caption mentions that the official World Cup anthem will be unveiled on Wednesday, September 20 at 12pm IST.

In the poster, Ranveer Singh is wearing a navy blue shirt, maroon-colored blazer, and matching hat. Fans wearing jerseys of different countries are seen in the background.

The World Cup will Start From This Day

The World Cup will be played from October 5 to November 19 in 2023. The first match of the World Cup (5 October) will be played between England and Pakistan.

At the same time, India will play its first match against New Zealand on 9 October. The tournament features ten teams, including defending champions England.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has already announced the Indian team for the World Cup 2023.

The team includes 1. Rohit Sharma (captain), 2. Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), 3. Shubman Gill, 4. Virat Kohli, 5. Shreyas Iyer, 6. KL Rahul, 7. Ravindra Jadeja, 8. Shardul Thakur, 9. Jasprit Bumrah, 10. Mohammed Siraj, 11. Kuldeep Yadav, 12. Mohammed Shami, 13. Axar Patel, 14. Ishan. Names of players like 15. Kishan and 16. Suryakumar Yadav is included.
