Giving a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Geo News reports that fast bowler Hasan Ali has been ruled out of the match against South Africa. To remain in the race for the semi-finals, this important match will be played on Friday.

The board said in a short statement: “Fast bowler Hasan Ali will not be available for Pakistan’s match against South Africa as he is ill.”
Hasan Will Be Given Rest To Fully Recover Before The Remaining Matches:-
The PCB said that Hasan had a fever last night, but he is now recovering. Hasan will be given rest to fully recover before the remaining matches.
Although the report says that this is not an official statement, according to informed sources, fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Junior can replace Hasan Ali.
After a promising start with wins over the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, the 1992 champions suffered a crushing defeat against Afghanistan. Earlier it was defeated by India and Australia.

Talking about Hasan Ali’s World Cup performance, he had taken 8 wickets in the last 5 matches. Which included 4 wickets for 71 runs against Sri Lanka. Pakistan can reach the semi-finals even after playing four group matches, but now the margin of error is very less.
Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan said in the press conference before the match that his under-performing teammates believe that a miracle can happen. Captain Babar Azam’s deputy Shadab said- “If you believe, then miracles do happen.”
