Albanese handed Sunak a piece of paper with the current Ashes

After they posed for pictures and Albanese handed Sunak a piece of paper with the current Ashes series score of “2 -1,” this occurred.

Sunak, though, pulled out a picture of English batters Mark Wood and Chris Woakes toasting their victory in Leeds.

Albanese took out a picture of Bairstow being run out in the second Test and remarked, “I was going to be really provocative,” in an effort to not be outdone.

Sunak – I’m sorry I didn’t bring my sandpaper with me

Sunak immediately remarked, “I’m sorry I didn’t bring my sandpaper with me,” alluding to an infamous Aussie ball-tampering incident from 2018.

Rishi posted on Twitter, saying: “I promised Anthony Albanese I’d give him one of our ministerial folders. Naturally, it came with a little reminder of last weekend … two more to go.”

Ashes 2023: ENG vs AUS

After his UK counterpart said that the dismissal of Bairstow during the second Ashes Test was against the spirit of the game, the Australian Prime Minister earlier defended his nation’s Ashes cricket squad.

Albanese tweeted “Same old Aussies – always winning” in reference to the English fans’ chant that read “Same old Aussies – always cheating” following the result.

Rishi Sunak, made fun

The Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, then yesterday posted a video. In which he and his British counterpart, Rishi Sunak, made fun of one another while discussing the ongoing Ashes.

After batsman, Jonny Bairstow departed his crease at the end of an over on the fifth day of the match. Australia wicketkeeper Alex Carey under-armed the ball at the stumps with England on 193/5 and chased a massive goal of 371.

Although England did manage to fight back in the third Test. They still need to win the final two games to win the series. On the other side, Australia continues to be the favorite.
