Suresh Raina is now a restaurateur! The cricketer, on June 23, announced that he has opened an Indian restaurant in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

A self-confessed foodie, Raina aims to bring authentic flavors from different parts of India to Europe with his Raina Indian Restaurant.

He also posted a set of photos of the restaurant along with some snippets from his time in the kitchen.

The restaurant, the cricketer said, is his tribute to the diverse culinary tapestry of India. ā€œFrom the rich spices of North India to the aromatic curries of South India. Raina Indian Restaurant is a tribute to the diverse and vibrant culinary tapestry of my beloved country,ā€ he wrote in the caption.

The menu offers a glimpse of his vision to celebrate the culinary treasures of India. For starters, one can choose from Chicken Chaat, Mix Pakora, Zaituni Paneer Tikka, Tandoor Chicken Tikka, Onion Bhaji, and Kabab varieties.

The cricketer has also brought the Old Delhi flavors to his restaurant. A special section called Snacks (Chandni Chowk) features an array of dishes like Dahi Bhalla, Pani Puri, Chaat Papri, Aloo Chaat, and piping hot Samosas.

The special ā€˜Tandoorā€™ section on the menu has a bevy of smokey delicacies including Tandoori Chicken. Tandoori Lobster, Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Fish Tikka, Soya Chaap, and more. Of course, thereā€™s a vast variety of curries too. From Lamb Rogan Josh to Prawn Mango Curry, Fish Coconut Curry, Butter Chicken, Mutton Korma, and Jhinga Masala ā€“ thereā€™s a lot to choose from.

For vegetarians, the main course-

For vegetarians, the main course options vary from the fool-proof Dal Makhani and Paneer Butter Masala to Mango Paneer, Chana Punjabi, Mushroom Karahi, and Malai Kofta. One can end their meal with traditional Indian sweets such as Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Rasmalai, Gajar Halwa, or ice creams.

As for the price range, the cheapest dish on the menu is Raita and it costs 1.49 euros (Rs 132), whereas the costliest dish is Tandoori Lobster in the food section. It costs 24.5 euros (Rs 2,183)
