What is the history of this Mace?

The International Cricket Council (ICC) made this mess known to the world for the first time in the year 2003. From this year onwards, teams ranked number one in the ICC Men’s Test Team Rankings were honored by presenting the medal to them. After this, the World Test Championship started in the year 2019. The New Zealand team became the first team to win this Mace in the year 2021 after the inception of the World Test Championship.
