Travis Head ‘s Historic innings: In the final match of the World Test Championship, the Indian bowling attack has become a joke in front of Travis Head. While batting in a stormy style, Head has scored a century in just 106 balls. Head has also achieved a special position with this century. He has become the first batsman in the world to score a century in the final of WTC.
Travis Head scored a century in WTC Final :-
In the final match of the World Test Championship being played against India, Travis Head has hit a strong century. Head became the first batsman to score a century in the final of the WTC.
Head looked in fine touch from the outset, hitting shots freely in all four corners of the ground to reach his half-century off 60 balls. After fifty, Head looked even more formidable and completed his century off 106 balls.
First century in England: –
Not only in the final of the World Test Championship, but also the first century from the bat of Travis Head on the soil of England. Earlier, Head’s highest score on English soil was 51 runs, which Head has now left behind.
Head handled the innings of Kangaroo team :-
After the dismissals of David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne, Travis Head, along with Steve Smith, handled the Kangaroo team’s innings well. Till the time of writing the news, Head has played a partnership of 171 runs for the fourth wicket with Smith.
