Rahul Dravid targets BCCI: Team India had to face a crushing defeat in the final match of the World Test Championship. In the title match, Australia crushed Team India by 209 runs to capture the WTC trophy for the first time.

Meanwhile, India’s head coach Rahul Dravid took a jibe at the BCCI for the humiliating defeat at the Oval. Dravid says that the schedule was very tight and the Indian team did not get enough time to prepare.

Dravid targeted BCCI :-

Speaking to Star Sports after the humiliating defeat at the hands of Australia, Rahul Dravid said, “The schedule was very tight. We only got a few weeks to prepare after the IPL. Also, arranging any practice matches Wasn’t. I’m not here to complain, many congratulations on winning Australia.”

Rohit also confessed about not getting enough time :-

Not only head coach Rahul Dravid, but captain Rohit Sharma also confessed about not getting enough time before the title clash. He said that before such a big match, at least 20 to 25 days should have been available for preparations.

IPL fatigue heavy in WTC Final 2023?

In the final match of the World Test Championship, fatigue clearly dominated the Indian players. Bowlers were seen straying from their line and length while throwing long spells, so the same enthusiasm was not visible in the fielders on the field.

Significantly, all the players of Team India had reached to play the WTC final by participating in IPL 2023. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that the fatigue of playing in the IPL for more than two months took a toll on the Indian players and the team had to bear the brunt of it.
