Australia batsman Steve Smith was trolled online after he removed an Indian fan wearing a red T-shirt from his seat at the Kennington Oval during the World Test Championship final against India.

Smith was taking on India pacer Umesh Yadav in the 21st over when he was distracted by a spectator wearing a red T-shirt and sitting right next to the side screen. The former Australia captain stopped play and asked the fans to get out of their seats. Smith’s move was criticized online, with fans calling for English fans to wear red T-shirts during upcoming Ashes series in .
