WTC final 2023: Steve Smith trolled for red T-shirt

Australia batsman Steve Smith was trolled online after he removed an Indian fan wearing a red T-shirt from his seat at the Kennington Oval during the World Test Championship final against India.

Steve Smith trolled :-

Smith was taking on India pacer Umesh Yadav in the 21st over when he was distracted by a spectator wearing a red T-shirt and sitting right next to the side screen. The former Australia captain stopped play and asked the fans to get out of their seats. Smith’s move was criticized online, with fans calling for English fans to wear red T-shirts during upcoming Ashes series in .

However, some fans took Smith’s side, saying there was no reason for him to wear a red T-shirt and sit right behind the bowler’s arm. Let us tell you that Smith scored a brilliant century in the first innings and finished Australia for 469 runs in the first innings with an important partnership of 285 runs with Travis Head. Two batsmen scored half-centuries in India’s first innings. First Ajinkya Rahane and then Shardul Thakur scored half-centuries for India. Shardul has a total of fourth in the Test match and third half-century at the Oval ground.

Shardul has equaled former Australian cricketers Allan Border and Don Bradman by scoring his third consecutive half-century at The Oval.
