Indian captain Rohit Sharma made a cool record by scoring a half-century in the fifth match of Asia Cup 2023 against Nepal on Monday.

Rohit Sharma scored his 10th half-century in Asia Cup history. He scored the 49th fifty of his ODI career. The Indian captain completed his half-century by hitting a four over mid-on on the fifth ball of the 13th over of the innings by Sompal Kami. He completed his fifty in 39 balls with the help of 5 fours and three sixes.

Before Rohit Sharma, the record of scoring most half-centuries in Asia Cup was in the name of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar scored 9 fifties in Asia Cup history.
