Coach Dravid Held An Informal Meeting With The Entire Team Management:-

BCCI selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar has held an informal meeting with India captain Rohit Sharma head coach Rahul Dravid and the entire team management in Colombo ahead of the Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka.

Apart from the final, Agarkar also discussed the Indian team for the Australia series, which is to be played in India from September 22.

The Indian cricket team has to play a three-match ODI series against Australia after the Asia Cup 2023 final. However, this series will be the last series between India and Australia before the upcoming World Cup 2023.

However, before the Asia Cup 2023 final, head coach Ajit Agarkar has held a marathon meeting with captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid and in this meeting, emphasis has also been laid on the home series against Australia.

All Eyes Will Be On Shreyas Iyer Against Australia:-

The India vs Australia series will also be important for Shreyas Iyer. He returned for the Asia Cup after being out of action for five months due to a back injury.

But after playing just one game he suffered back spasms, which forced him to miss three matches.

However, all eyes are going to be on him in the home series against Australia. However, it is not yet confirmed whether he is completely fit or not.

Axar Patel is Out Of the Asia Cup Due To An Injury:-

Indian all-rounder Akshar Patel was injured against Bangladesh in the crucial match of Asia Cup 2023 Super-4, after which he had to be ruled out of the entire tournament.

However, according to the report of Cricbuzz, Washington Sundar has got a chance in place of Akshar. Sundar will join the team before the final against Sri Lanka.
