Pathan is married and his wife’s name is Afreen Khan (Physiotherapist). They were married on 27 March 2013. They have a son named Ayaan. His nation is Islam and his hobby is playing Golf.

Yusuf was part of the Indian team that won the inaugural T20 World Cup in South Africa. Where he replaced Sehwag against Pakistan in the HT final and was also part of a formidable Indian team. That won the 2011 Wankhede World Cup. World Cup right. in 28 years.
Although he has never scored a half-century in T20 International cricket, he was an integral part of the Indian T20 team in the 2009 and 2012 T20 World Cups, due to all his abilities in bowling and especially batting. He played a total of 22 matches and scored 236 runs with the highest score of 37 and took 13 wickets in his short career.
He played his last T20 International in 2012 against South Africa where he did not bat and scored 9 runs in his only over.

Yusuf’s IPL journey began with Rajasthan Royals player against Delhi Daredevils, his first season with him under Shane Warne’s captaincy. Rajasthan Royals won the inaugural IPL Champions, and Yusuf Pathan was one of the stand outperformers for his side that season. In the third season, he was made the vice-captain of the team and he made history in that season by scoring a century in just 37 balls.
Pathan’s Records and Achievements :-
Yusuf Pathan’s record will remain untouched for a long and is the fastest century by an Indian in IPL against Mumbai Indians in just 37 balls while playing for Rajasthan Royals.
A record that is listed against his name is that he scored the fastest List-A ton by an Indian in just 40 balls, where he hit bowlers across the park in the West Zone Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2010.

Lastly, he holds the record for the second-fastest List-A half-century off just 18 balls, playing for West Zone against Virat Kohli-led North Zone in 2010.
