CPL 2023: This 21-year-old Pakistani batsman scored 478 runs in CPL 2023 with the help of 28 sixes. Guyana Amazon Warriors have won the 11th Caribbean Premier League title.

Saim was just 3 runs behind the highest run scorer in CPL 2023, Shai Ho (481). Seeing the strong performance of Saim Ayub, he is being called the future of Pakistan cricket.

Saim’s bat shined throughout the CPL 2023 season and while playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors, he scored 478 runs in 13 matches at an average of 43.45 and strike rate of 142.26, which included 39 fours and 28 sixes.

After a strong performance throughout the tournament, Saim also played in the CPSL final, and in response to the target of 95 runs, he played an unbeaten inning of 52 runs in 41 balls, giving his team Guyana a spectacular victory by 9 wickets.

Who is Pak Cricketer Sam Ayub, who Created A Stir in CPL?

Pak cricketer Saim Ayub was born on 24 May 2002 in Karachi, Pakistan. Saim is a left-handed batsman and bowls right-arm off-break.

Ayub made his international debut for Pakistan on 24 March 2023 in a T20 match against Afghanistan. Saim Ayub has so far scored 123 runs in 8 T20 International matches at a strike rate of 123.

• Saim made his T20 debut for Quetta Gladiators during the 2021 Pakistan Super League.
• He made his List-A debut in March 2022, playing for Sindh in the 2021 Pakistan Cup.
• In September 2022, Saim Ayub made his first-class debut playing for Sindh in the 2022 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Saim Ayub: This young left-handed batsman played an important role in making Guyana Amazon Warriors champions. 21-year-old Sam was the second-highest run-scorer in CPL 2023, scoring 478 runs in 13 matches.

Imad Wasim: This Pakistani cricketer left his mark in CPL 2023 with both ball and bat. Wasim, playing for Jamaica Tallawahs, was the third most successful batsman in the league scoring 313 runs with the help of 2 half-centuries in 11 matches.

Imad also performed well with the ball and was the seventh most successful bowler this season by taking 14 wickets.

Azam Khan: Playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors, Azam Khan was another cricketer who contributed significantly to making them CPL champions this season.

This stormy right-handed batsman scored 224 runs in 12 innings at a strike rate of 155.55 and an average of 20.26, which included one half-century. He hit 20 fours and 16 sixes in CPL 2023.

Mohammad Aamir: Former Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Aamir also remained in the headlines due to his strong performance in CPL 2023.

Playing for Jamaica Tallawahs, left-arm fast bowler Aamir took 16 wickets in 10 matches and was the third-highest wicket-taker this season.
