Ajay Jadeja, “Don’t be surprised if Afghanistan team pulls India or Pakistan out of the tournament”

Ajay Jadeja: The Afghanistan team in the Asia Cup 2022 has taken everyone by surprise as the Mohammad Nabi-led Afghan team started the campaign with an impressive eight-wicket win against Sri Lanka and defeated Shakib Al Hasan-led Bangladesh. Made it to Super 4 after defeating it by seven wickets.

In such a situation, former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja has advised both India and Pakistan to be careful and said that do not be surprised if Afghanistan team throws India or Pakistan out of the tournament.

Jadeja said while talking on CricBuzz said :-

Speaking on Cricbuzz, Ajay Jadeja said, “Teams should be careful while playing these guys (Afghanis) in Super 4. When you play against these guys in Super 4, I wouldn’t surprised if they play in bigger teams. Defeat one.”

Jadeja considers bowling to be Afghanistan’s biggest strength, but he also lauded the batsmen for understanding and playing according to the situation.

Ajay Jadeja praised the Afghan team a lot :-

He said, “They have firepower, bowling everyone knows what they can do. Imagine either India or Pakistan team is 20/2 or 30/2 then they will not give you a chance to come back These guys have that ability. They have also shown with their batting that their openers can play a certain way.

So if you are an analyst for India or Pakistan team, how are you going to plan, what are you thinking? They can come and surprise you and the rest of the team can surprise even more.”
