Mishra broke the record of former Mumbai Indians fast bowler Lasith Malinga by getting RCB batsman Suyash Prabhudeshai caught by Krishnappa Gautam. Mishra has reached number two in terms of taking maximum wickets as a spinner in IPL. Before him is Chahal. Amit Mishra is playing in IPL after 2 years. Earlier he played in the year 2021. Mishra took 2 wickets against RCB. He made RCB captain Faf Duplesey his second victim. Duplessy was caught by Krunal Pandya on a personal score of 44 by Mishra.
