While on the second ball he dismissed Lockie Ferguson for a golden duck. Russell then caught Rahul Tewatia for 17 on the fifth ball and dismissed Yash Dayal for a golden duck on the last ball.

Andre Russell showed his power in batting too

After showing Jauhar in the bowling in the first innings, Andre Russell also showed his power in the second innings. He scored 48 runs in 25 balls against Gujarat at a strike rate of 192. Russell hit 6 tremendous sixes and hit a four in his innings. In 48 runs, he scored 40 runs with fours and sixes. However, despite this all-round performance from Russell, KKR got defeated which was quite disappointing.
