Arshdeep Singh dropped the catch of Asif Ali in the Asia Cup Super-4 match against Pakistan, after which he was trolled a lot on social media. During this, some fans also called Arshdeep Khalistani.

After the match against Sri Lanka, a fan called Arshdeep Singh a traitor :-
