Asia Cup 2022: Dushmantha Chameera Ruled Out Of The Upcoming Asia Cup Due To An Injury, after India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup, now Sri Lanka suffered a major setback due to an injured player.
Out of the upcoming Asia Cup due to injury:-
Veteran bowler Dushmanta Chameera has been ruled out of the upcoming Asia Cup due to injury.

Sri Lanka is the host of this event, although it has been shifted to UAE due to bad conditions in the country the hosting is in the hands of Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka will face Afghanistan in the opening match of the Asia Cup starting on August 27. Chameera is out about 6 days before the event, on 24 August the Sri Lankan team will fly to Dubai.
Chamira also Plays in IPL and other T20 leagues:-
Dushmanta Chamira has played 50 T20Is for Sri Lanka, and 30-year-old Chamera has good experience in this format. Chameera also plays in IPL and other T20 leagues, she is experienced and her exclusion from the Asia Cup is a big blow to the team.
Dushmantha has taken 48 wickets in 50 T20 matches for Sri Lanka. Chamira’s best is of 4 wickets for 17 runs.
Chameera is involved in Lucknow Super Giants in IPL, before that he has also been part of RCB and Rajasthan Royals squad.
Chamera will make a comeback in the World Cup:-
Asia Cup 2022 Cricket: Dushmanta Chamira is out of Asia Cup but will prepare herself for the upcoming World Cup. It is expected that Chamera will recover and return to the team before the next T20 World Cup to be held in Australia.
Earlier, India’s most experienced fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was also ruled out of the Asia Cup. After him, Pakistan’s star bowler Shaheen Afridi was out.

The reason for both of them being out is due to injury, and now the streak of the injured player has come to Sri Lanka. Two Bangladesh players are also injured, but no information has been revealed about them yet.
