Asia Cup 2022: Team India’s Virat Kohli 41 and KL Rahul will play cricket match after 94 days, the Indian team (Asia Cup India Squad) has been announced for the Asia Cup 2022.

India’s first match in Asia Cup on 28 August:-

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul have returned in this team. India’s first match in the Asia Cup will be played on August 28 against Pakistan.

KL Rahul and Virat Kohli have been included in Team India for the Asia Cup starting later this month. KL Rahul has been made the vice-captain of the team.

In such a situation, if Virat Kohli gets a place in the team against Pakistan, then he will come on the field to play a match after 41 days.

KL Rahul Played his last match in IPL:-

On the other hand, if KL Rahul comes out to play this match, then it will be a match after 94 days. KL Rahul played his last match in IPL as the captain of Lucknow Supergiants on 25 May.

After this KL Rahul had to go to Germany due to groin injury surgery. After the surgery, KL Rahul was hit by Corona and now his return in the Asia Cup will be against Pakistan.

He could not do anything amazing in the fifth test match:-

Virat Kohli has been battling poor form for some time now. In the fifth Test against England at Edgbaston, he was not able to do anything amazing, while in the T20 series and ODI series also he could not perform well.

He playing his last match against England on 17 July. After which he was discharging from the tour of the West Indies and upcoming Zimbabwe.
