AUS vs NZ, ODI: New Zealand announces team against Australia, these players return

AUS vs NZ: New Zealand has announced a squad of 15 players for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia. Matt Henry has returned to this team. Henry was ruled out of the West Indies tour due to a rib injury.

New Zealand won the ODI series 2-1 for the first time :-

New Zealand beat West Indies 2-1 in an ODI series for the first time on Caribbean soil. Kiwi’s will play the first match against Australia on 6 September at the Kazali Stadium in Cairnsau. The other two matches of the series will be played at the same ground on September 8 and 11.

In this 15-player squad for the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy, except Ish Sodhi, the rest of the players who went on the West Indies tour are the same. Glenn Phillips has also made it to the tour of Australia, along with Ben Sears, who joined the team as a replacement for Matt Henry. Because of this, Henry Nicholls and Will Young have not got a place in the team. On the other hand, Kyle Jamieson and Adam Milne are out due to injuries.

Kane Williamson will seen leading New Zealand ‘s team, who missed the last two ODIs against West Indies due to injury. Regarding the match against Australia, Williamson said, ‘We have a big rivalry with Australia; It is always a huge opportunity for the fans, and the team is really looking forward to it.
